Can You Afford Health Insurance?

Do you, or someone you know, need health insurance but cannot afford it? If so, now is the time to act! The Federal Government is using your tax dollars to offer health insurance at new low prices! The Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) has a program that offers low-cost health insurance through private insurance plans. You can check out your options by going to the federal website Health Care.Gov to set up an account.

Health Insurance is complicated, and most people need assistance to understand their choices. Florida has a program that offers consumers help from specialists called Navigators who will explain eligibility, options, and how to enroll. Navigators provide free, unbiased help so you can understand your choices and how much each will cost. Navigators are not associated with anyone who sells insurance and their services are available to everyone in Florida.

You can talk to, or schedule an appointment with, a Navigator by calling 877-813-9115. Or you may go to their website called Covering Florida. The website provides some helpful information and a way to contact Navigators who know about the plans in your area.

Insurance offered through the Market Place is for adults, but the Navigators can talk to you about programs that offer reduced-cost programs for children and seniors. Open enrollment lasts until January 15, 2023, but the sooner you call the better off you will be. Don’t delay! The holidays are coming and you will get busy. Call now to get the comprehensive insurance you can afford!
