Our friends at the Community Coalition for Older Adults (CCOA) are hosting a Community Interest event with Stephen Hofstetter presenting, "Climate Impacts in Alachua County" on November 8th at 1:45 p.m. at the Senior Recreation Center, 5701 NW 34th Blvd., Gainesville, Fl 32653.

Stephen Hofstetter is the Director of the Alachua County Environmental Protection Department, a local government agency with programming in Water Resources Management, Natural Resources Protection, Land Conservation, Pollution Prevention, Hazardous Waste Management, Climate Chance Initiatives and Petroleum Cleanup. A native of Florida, Mr. Hofstetter holds a master’s degree in biology from Easter Kentucky University, a B.S. in Zoology, and a Certificate in Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
