We are honored to welcome Danielle Allen, James Bryant Conant University Professor at Harvard University, as our keynote speaker at LWVCC's Annual Meeting. A distinguished political philosopher and scholar of public policy, Allen directs the Allen Lab for Democracy Renovation and has long been a leading voice on the future of democracy, justice, and civic engagement.

Her work bridges the gap between academic scholarship and public life. Allen has authored numerous influential books on citizenship and democratic renewal, and is a frequent contributor to major newspapers, where she addresses urgent political and ethical issues with clarity and conviction.

Drawing on her experience as a scholar, public intellectual, and former gubernatorial candidate, she brings a powerful vision for democratic resilience and reform.

The keynote speech is followed by our annual business meeting, where members elect officers, discuss and vote on policy positions, and learn about the League’s upcoming priorities. The event is free and open to the public. Bring your friends and neighbors.

The meeting takes place at the Concord Free Publoc Library and via Zoom.
