League Leaders and Members:

We had a successful LWVDV Program Planning meeting on Saturday, February 21st.  After discussion, members agreed that we should continue our current priorities of Making Democracy Work, Immigration Support, and Youth Engagement, with more clear and emphatic language. The board will work on this and present the final version for a vote at the Annual Meeting in May or June. Thank you to all who participated!

I also want to share an excerpt from a recent message from
Dianna Wynn, our LWVUS President. LWVUS is really out in front in the fight for democracy!

"On February 14, the League of Women Voters marked 106 years of organizing, resisting, and defending democracy! This anniversary was a moment to pause, reflect, and recommit ourselves to the work ahead. Our mission has never been easy, but it has also never been more important.

If you’d like to hear more about where we’re headed, you can watch my full 2026 State of the League Address on our YouTube channel

Thank you for being part of this community and for standing with us in this work."

We welcome new members Deanna Geddie, Erin Bloom, and Stephanie McFarland!
