League members have been out and about at Los Medanos College (LMC) and at St. Mary’s College during the past month.
Ruth Ann also made the journey to St. Mary’s College for the Safe Spring Break Fair. Several young people registered to vote and learned about the importance of voting in the June Primary. It was a beautiful day to be on the campus chatting with young people. The League will be returning to St. Mary’s on April 20 for tabling at Denim Day.

Voter Services Co-Chair Ana Pan facilitated another voter registration Zoom training for new members interested in tabling at the Food Bank. Additionally, Voter Services held an evening Moderator Training at the Walnut Creek Library as part of preparing for the upcoming candidate forums. The first forum is happening on April 30 for Superior Court Judge, Position Q. A big thank you to Ann Flynn, one of the LWVDV’s most experienced and seasoned moderators, for being the trainer. Great job, everyone for all of your good questions. Thank you for your enthusiasm.
