LWVDV is Out and About…
League members have been out and about in the community. They have been at Los Medanos College numerous times this past month in addition to being at St. Mary’s College for Denim Day, a program informing the campus community about sexual harassment and how to be safe. (photo: Kamryn Young at SMC.)

he LWVDV Youth Council members were tabling at the Lush store at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek. It was a wonderful time. Moe Ochoa, the store manager, is a great partner and cares a lot about partnering with the League and the work we do to inform voters and help get them registered to vote.

Library Summer Exploration Stations
The Contra Costa Library is inviting LWVDV to participate again in its summer Exploration Stations program for elementary students. For several years, Leaguers have planned a voting experience opportunity for the young people which aligned with the library’s environment theme. We had our friendly puppet friends helping. and the children love them.
If this fun time sounds interesting and you would like to help on any of the days in the following schedule, please contact shawn [at] lwvdv.org. All sessions are 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
