Sherli Leonard has worked tirelessly since 2006 as the Executive Director of the Redlands Conservancy, a local non-profit organization, leading others to protect the historic built environment of Redlands and the irreplaceable agricultural and natural environments, for today's and future generations to enjoy. She is passionate about protecting Redlands' cultural heritage, from its historic old buildings to its lush green citrus groves and its wild open spaces.

A Redlands resident since 1985, Leonard taught for two and a half decades in the public schools, and has been a freelance writer since 1990. She has served on numerous boards including serving as President of the Redlands Art Association Board of Trustees, President of the Redlands Art Association Executive Board, and Chair of the City of Redlands Cultural Arts Commission. Sheri also serves on the Nonprofit Management Corporation for the California Citrus Historical State Park.
