The Town of Concord will hold a Special Town Election on Tuesday, February 2, 2027, to fill the Select Board vacancy created by Mary Hartman's resignation.

Concord's five-member Select Board makes decisions on town policies, finances, and other matters affecting the community. In this special election, voters will choose one member to fill the vacant seat for the remainder of the term, which expires in 2028.

The League of Women Voters of Concord-Carlisle will host a Candidate Forum to give voters an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and learn more about their positions on issues facing Concord. The date and details will be announced soon.

Interested in running for office? Nomination papers are available at the Town Clerk's Office. Candidates must collect signatures from at least 50 registered Concord voters and submit their completed nomination papers by Tuesday, December 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM. There will be no Town Caucus for this special election.
