Local Election Integrity: Are We Secure Enough?

Join the League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Columbus, Delaware County, and Licking County for a timely and informative nonpartisan webinar, “Local Election Integrity: Are We Secure Enough?”

As Ohio prepares for the 2026 Primary Election, election officials from the Franklin, Delaware, and Licking County Boards of Elections will discuss how our local elections are administered, the safeguards in place to protect voter security, and how ballots are verified and counted. Moderated by Amy Juravich of WOSU’s "All Sides with Amy Juravich", this nonpartisan forum will provide voters with accurate, up-to-date information about election processes in central Ohio.

Participants will also have the opportunity to submit questions for the panel.

The League of Women Voters is proud to host this discussion to help voters feel informed, confident, and prepared to participate in our democracy.

Superheroes of Everyday Democracy

LWV members are everyday superheroes - the kind who show up, keep going, and change lives one voter at a time to safeguard democracy. Often a member will go way beyond the ordinary — not for recognition, but because helping a voter matters. Here we highlight the extraordinary work of our League members. Each story is true. Each story shows what democracy looks like up close.

Read about our superhero Pam Conrad and her extraordinary effort to help register a neighbor to vote. Thank you to Kathleen Reynolds for sharing this story. And thank you to Marcia Carle for writing it.
