The League of Women Voters of Oxford, Miami University’s Menard Family Center for Democracy and the Journal News will conduct a debate with candidates on the November 2022 ballot for the positions of Butler County Commissioner and Butler County Auditor. This event will be held on September 29 at 6:30pm and will take place virtually on Zoom. It is aimed at providing the citizens of Butler County with a chance to hear directly from the candidates running for commissioner and auditor. 6:30PM: Butler County Commissioner Debate:
Incumbent Cindy Carpenter (R) vs challenger, Latisha Hazell (D)

7:30PM: Butler County Auditor Debate:
Incumbent Roger Reynolds (R) vs. challenger, Mike Dalesandro (D)

Additionally, invitations have been sent to the State Representative candidates for Butler County Districts 40, 45, 46, and 47 for a virtual candidate forum on October 13th. The organizers are still collecting responses. The organizers are also working with Congressional District 8 candidates, Warren Davidson and Vanessa Enoch, to identify a date in October that works for both campaigns.
