Special Districts - What Voters Need to Know

The League of Women Voters of Marion-Polk Counties conducted a panel discussion with Oregon's Special Districts Association's Executive Director, Frank Stratton, and others to learn what is a Special District, why are they important, and how can a person serve their community by becoming a board member of Special Districts.  Others presenting were Betty Hart, current Board Director of the Keizer Fire District and John Barbour, a Dallas Cemetery District board member.
