The League of Women Voters published this op ed in the Delaware County Daily Times Nov. 1 detailing the safeguards built into our voting systems ensure that they are fair and secure.

In a triumph for PA voters, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania has ruled that Act 77, the legislation that brought voting by mail, also known as "no-excuse" absentee voting to Pennsylvania, is constitutional and will apply to voters this election season.

The PA Legislature has recessed until September after passing a constitutional amendments package that would dramatically shift the balance of power and call multiple rights into question, including the right to abortion healthcare.
