Event Summary: League of Women Voters of Delaware County and the League of Women Voters of Chester County in conjunction with the Education Policy and Leadership Center is offering a two-part workshop for all PA school board candidates and interested voters to help prepare candidates running for the office of school board.

Part 1: Wednesday, May 5, 2021 via Zoom from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. will feature the roles and responsibilities of School Board members and an overview of State policy issues affecting School Boards.
Part 2: Thursday, May 6, 2021 via Zoom from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. will feature creating a school district budget and Q & A with a panel of experienced School Board members.
