On Aug.12 the Census Bureau will be releasing the 20202 Census data need for states to complete the redistricting process. This means map-drawing will start across the country, and we want to encourage as many people as possible to have a voice in this process. To do this, the League of Women Voters in partnership with Campaign Legal Center is hosting a Twitter storm to inform the public on how they can get involved in mapping their communities.
Join us on Twitter from 2 pm ET - 3 pm ET to encourage public participation in map-drawing and how to measure if maps are drawn fairly for your community!
This toolkit includes sample social media posts and graphics to use.
