Our League will only be as strong as our members - people from the community who are willing to lend their time and energy to educate, advocate, and empower voters.

Any person age 16 or older who subscribes to the purposes and policies of the League of Women Voters is eligible for membership.

Your membership includes:
Memberships in the LWVUS, the LWVRI, and the RI League of your choice

Membership Dues:
● Individual members: $75 per year is the recommended amount, or pay what
you can ($20 minimum).

● You can add a household member ($150 total for both recommended, $40 for bothminimum), but they each will need to provide a unique email address.

● Student members: $25 per year is the recommended amount, or pay what you can ($20 minimum).

● Life members: In appreciation of their dedication to democracy, Life Members
(members for more than 50 years) are exempt from membership dues.

 

The LWVRI and the LWVUS are 501(c)(4) organizations, and dues are not tax-deductible. Tax-deductible donations to the LWVRI Education Fund and donations to the LWVRI that are not shared with the other levels of the League may still be made using the Donate button on this site. Please contact your local League to make donations for Local League projects.
