South Carolina’s Public Service Commission (PSC) has given itself six months to review the largest utility merger in U.S. history — the proposed $67-billion deal between Florida power behemoth NextEra and Virginia’s Dominion Energy. If you are a Dominion customer, please plan to write, call, or attend a public hearing to comment on this merger. It is extremely important that individual Dominion ratepayers/customers in South Carolina make themselves heard.

Congress continues to introduce bills that would require voters to present documentary proof of citizenship (DPOC) to register and/or vote, including the SAVE America Act, the Safeguard Voter Eligibility Act (SAVE Act), and the Make Elections Great Again Act (MEGA).

The SAVE Act would create one more barrier to the voting process, as many eligible voters do not have easy access to the necessary documents.

Tell Congress to reject anti-voter policies.

Last year, the House and Senate introduced the Equal Representation Act (H.R.151 and S.2205) to add a citizenship question to the 2030 Census and exclude noncitizens from the apportionment process, which determines the number of members each US state sends to the House of Representatives.

Tell your Members of Congress the Census must count all people!

The District of Columbia, while known to many as the seat of our nation's government, is also where many people live, work, raise their families, pay taxes, and call home. However, unlike people living in the 50 US states, the residents of DC live under local laws that are subject to congressional interference. This is undemocratic.

Urge your Members of Congress to oppose interference in DC!
