The leaders we elect make decisions that affect our daily lives. Educated voters are essential to making democracy work. The LWV HHI-BA Education Committee proudly sponsors Teacher Appreciation Week, May 5th - May 9th, to show our support of Beaufort County teachers.

The members of the LWV Education and Voter Services Committees created Teacher Appreciation Week 2025 signs with the addition of stars to reflect this year's Teacher Appreciation Week theme - Reach for the Stars. The signs will be installed by LWV volunteers from both the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton SC Leagues of Women Voters in front of the Beaufort County public and private schools during Teacher Appreciation Week 2025 (May 5th -9th).
