The LWV HHI-BA encourages our members to honor Dr. King's legacy and continue his fight for justice and equality by attending the MLK events in January and February. We invite all League members to march in the annual MLK Day March on January 20, 2025. Let’s have a good turnout this year!

The parade leaves from Hilton Head High School, 70 Wilborn Road at 10 am, gathering time 9:45 am in front of the Seahawk Auditorium. There is a program following the march, Seahawk Auditorium, with lunch in the HHI cafeteria.

The MLK events are organized by the Hilton Head MLK Committee for Justice. All events are free and open to the public except the dinner dance. Please consider supporting these events.
