Hooray!  The League of Women Voters-MC has  now received approval from Blacksburg High School to assist the National Honor Society and other student clubs to register BHS high school students to vote.  

Volunteers are needed for next Tuesday, Sept. 24th,  and Thursday, Sept. 26th,  from 10:25-12:45 to provide voter registration guidance and support as the high school students register their fellow students to vote.  Tables will be set up to register students during the schools’ three lunch periods.

We can work in shifts so if you can only spare 45 minutes or an hour over lunch, you can still help out with voter registration.

Most of the students will be able to register to vote on their phones or computers, but we will also have paper application forms for those who do not have a Virginia driver’s license.
