We have two upcoming opportunities for League members to take Voter Registration Training so you can help with our important voter registration and education work before this fall’s presidential election.
You MUST have voter registration training if you are going to volunteer to register voters at the Farmers Market, the local high schools or other registration efforts.
In Person Training
On Monday, July 22nd, from 10 a.m.-noon, Connie Viar, Montgomery County Director of Elections & General Registrar, will host in-person voter registration training in Multi-Purpose Room 2 (upstairs) in the Montgomery County Government Center. The center is at 755 Roanoke St, Christiansburg, VA 24073.
This training is open to any who would like to attend so please share this information with friends who may be interested in becoming volunteers. You can register for the local training no later than July 15th by contacting Sara Dalton at sarabdalton [at] outlook.com or the Montgomery County Office of Elections at (540) 382-5741.

Online Training
Voter registration training is also available online from the Virginia Department of Elections at your convenience. Go to: www.elections.virginia.gov › Registration › Registration Drive Training > Online Voter Registration Training Interactive Course. You must renew your voter education training annually beginning on July 1 to qualify for voter registration efforts before the 2024 election.
