On Jan. 28, 2023, the League of Women Voters - Whitewater Area hosted a candidate forum for the Whitewater Unified School District School Board candidates. Nearly 40 people were in attendance.
On Sunday, Dec. 4 at the Prairie Village Community Center from 4 - 6 p.m., we celebrated this year's recipients of the Making Democracy Work Award, Lynn Binnie and Patrick Singer.
A final discussion of Ibram X. Kendi's book, "How to be an Antiracist," will be held on Monday evening, November 21, from 6 - 8:30 p.m. at the Irvin L Young Memorial Library, 431 West Center Street, Whitewater.
