All candidates on the ballot for the November 8, 2022 General Election will receive an invitation to post information about their candidacy on the free Voter's Edge website.
The Miles Hall Lifeline and Suicide Prevention Act has passed the California State Senate and Assembly, and will go to the Governor for his signature. The legislation will implement California’s vision for the new nationwide 9-8-8 Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Crisis Hotline.

Civil Discourse team report: Civic engagement, misinformation, and disinformation were the subject of several excellent LWVUS webinars at last month’s national convention. Among the topics discussed were the neurological basis of “Them versus Us” perceptions, effective techniques for identifying and addressing misinformation or disinformation, and tools for dealing with them.
