Voting for the 2020 General Election ended on November 3, 2020

Ballot counting is finished. All results were certified in the states. On Dec 14, Presidential Electors voted to elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. On Jan 3 the new Congress was sworn in, except the senators from Georgia, who on Jan 5 had a runoff. On Jan 6, the new Congress counted the Electoral College votes from each state and declared the final result. On Jan 20 the new President and Vice President, two Senators from Georgia and one Senator from California, were sworn into office.

Note that starting in 2020 you no longer need to put postage on your Vote-by-Mail ballot. You can request a vote-by-mail ballot for a one-time absence, or you can register for permanent vote-by-mail.
