October Report

In September the Community Outreach group attended the 22nd annual Constitution Day at the Reagan Library.  Thank you for representing our group: Jim Moynahan, Jen Vallens, Kay Wilson-Bolton, and Cathy Trevino.  We met many middle and high school civics teachers from Ventura and LA County in attendance, all appreciating the work of the League.

In October we can use some help for these upcoming tabling events:
  • Mon. Oct 5th “Rock the Vote” at Ventura College
  • Wed. Oct 14th Ventura College “Engage, Educate, Motivate, and Activate”
  • Sat. Oct. 17th Ventura College of the Foothills “Peace Fair”
  • Sat. Oct. 17th No Kings Rally at the Ventura Government Center.

Please watch for SignUpGenius invitations, and help us get out the vote while informing people about issues on our ballots on election day, Tuesday, November 3rd
