- Incentives for - new and used EVs - will end on September 30
- Incentives for - home efficiency improvements - like insulation, rooftop solar, batteries, and double pane windows (which are recommended in fire risk areas) will end on December 31
On September 16, the Climate Action Plan (CAP) team will present Power Talk, a 54-page primer that the team wrote that explains how electrical power is generated, transmitted and regulated. Electrification is a necessary step in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and Power Talk gives us the tools and knowledge to effectively advocate at all levels of government for electrification with renewable energy.
In this meeting the CAP team will present a video that can be used by local leagues to introduce Power Talk and explain how local leagues can apply it in their advocacy. Members of the CAP team will be on hand to answer questions
