Meetings on Zoom at 3pm on the fourth Thursday of the month,
unless it is a holiday, then we meet on the third Thursday.

The Climate Change Committee helps with education to to identify things we can do to reduce the causes of climate change and adapt to our changing future.

April is Earth Month.  Here is a summary of the upcoming events:

The League takes action on climate
  • The LWV US submitted comments to the EPA regarding the "2009 Endangerment Finding" which enabled the EPA to regulate harmful gas emissions.  LINK

We discuss climate mis/disinformation in our meetings because it works against the adoption of renewable solutions. This short video, The Secret to Talking about Climate Change, contains good advice for talking to skeptics about the climate.
