unless it is a holiday, then we meet on the third Thursday.

The Climate Change Committee helps with education to to identify things we can do to reduce the causes of climate change and adapt to our changing future.

May 19, 10:00 am, the LWV US Climate Interest Group will be hosting a webinar on Climate Action Plans with Joe Houde, Chair of the North County (San Diego) Climate Change Alliance. He will present what cities and counties could and should include in their Climate Action Plans to proactively address the effects of climate change. The League takes action on climate
  • The LWV US submitted comments to the EPA regarding the "2009 Endangerment Finding" which enabled the EPA to regulate harmful gas emissions.  LINK
