The Housing & Homeless Committee invites you to join us at our meetings. We welcome fresh ideas on how we can support housing initiatives of all types, as well as prevention programs and essential services for our community.

News for May

We did not meet in April, but we'll be back in May on the 17th (one week later than usual since May 10th is Mother's Day) We meet at 4 PM by video conference.

Our speaker will be Rod Letterman, the government affairs director for the Ventura County Association of Realtors. He will present the work of a special steady committee that developed simplified talking points and definitions for people to use when advocating for affordable housing projects. The five-point presentation provides support statements that are clear and hard to debate.
