Making Democracy Accessible to the Next Generation
Click Here for the history of how it all began
In January the Voter Registration Committee will resume planning sessions with coordinators, then in February volunteer trainings/updates, and in Feb-Mar-April voter registration volunteer opportunities. Some schools have already expressed interest in our classroom presentations, and some students want to hold student-led voter registration drives at their schools.
We have been awarded a grant of $750 by the LWVUS Education Fund to support our Spring voter registration activities. This grant will be wisely spent, especially in supporting our student-led activities.
