We fund scholarships at our three community colleges: Moorpark, Oxnard, and Ventura.
The Scholarship Committee met on September 10th.
We recommended that:
- LWVVC grant $2000 for the scholarship at each of our three community colleges
- Our current scholarship requirements remain unchanged
- Liaisons to each school are
- Moorpark College - Kay Armstrong
- Ventura College - Carol Lindberg
- Oxnard College - Doug and Jan Reaver
The various colleges have closed the scholarship submissions and will be reviewing the applications in March.
