How does the City Government work?  What does a city manager do?   How does the city manager's role intersect with the elected city officials?

Mr. Alexander Nguyen was appointed Oxnard City Manager in July 2018. He came to Oxnard with 20 years of municipal experience in several California cities.  He will address the roles and responsibilities of city government, how the city works with the county and the state, and what the roles of the various city officials are.
