Mark your Calendars! LWV Ventura County is joining hundreds of state and local Leagues and partners throughout the US for a nationwide “Unite & Rise for Voting Rights Day of Action” to mobilize voters ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. 

Please join us on August 8 for this event, which is also our Summer 2026 quarterly membership meeting.

We'll kick things off with a potluck lunch - watch for a SignUpGenius invitation so you can let us know you will attend, and what dish you'll bring to share.

We'll explain the SAVE America Act, CA Proposition 39 (Voter Identification), and CA Proposition 4 (Public Financing of Elections).

We'll hear about last month’s LWV National Convention from members who attended as delegates for our League.

We'll talk about actions you can take to be part of the Unite and Rise initiative, a nationwide effort to engage and mobilize 8.5 million voters by November 2026.
