League of Women Voters of Connecticut launches online Vote411 Voters Guide for August 9 State Primaries

New Canaan, July 18 2022 – The League of Women Voters of Connecticut (LWVCT) has kicked off the Fall 2022 Election season by inviting top of ticket Primary candidates to participate in its state-wide online nonpartisan Voters Guide at VOTE411.org

Local Leagues worked together to devise questions of interest to Primary candidates for Governor, US House, US Senate, Secretary of State and Treasurer. Biographical and campaign-specific information has also been requested. Candidates may respond at any time and their answers will become available to voters in real time.

VOTE411 is a LWVUS website that serves as a "one-stop-shop" for election-related information and provides nonpartisan information to the public with both general and state-specific information on many aspects of the election process.

The LWVCT launched online Voters Guides across the state using VOTE411.org for the first time last fall, covering more than 70 municipal elections. This fall all state House and Senate Districts will be similarly covered.
