With Early Voting kicking off on Monday, October 19, your VOTE411 Voter Guide is here to help you know what's on your ballot so you can make your plan and vote! Remember, Early Voting locations are not the same as regular polling locations. Find your Early Voting location HERE.

This year, Connecticut voters will choose candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives, statewide offices–such as Governor and Attorney General–and both their Connecticut Senate and House districts. Some voters will also see municipal offices on their ballot.

Step 1: Check or update your voter registration ASAP

  • Register online at MyVote.CT.gov/register until 11:59 PM on Friday, October 16. In-person registration is available at your Registrar of Voters' office until 8:00 PM this day.

Step 2: Find out what's on your ballot and where the candidates stand on the issues you care about

Visit VOTE411.org/ballot to see what's on your ballot and learn about  the candidates. Once you enter an address, you will see which offices are on your ballot and the candidates for each one. You will also see candidate responses to questions on housing, education funding, healthcare, Constiutional rights protections, and other important issues, if they have submitted their answers.

If one of your candidates has not responded, you can help by reaching out to them and urging them to participate in the voter guide!

Step 3: View your town's sample ballots

All voters have a right to inspect their ballot before casting their vote. Check the 2026 General Election Sample Ballots page for your town's sample ballots, scheduled to be posted 1-2 weeks before Election Day. For more detailed statewide information, visit the Secretary of the State's comprehensive 2026 General Election Guide.
