Please join the Wilton Library and the Wilton League of Women Voters for a Legislative Dialogue with Senator Ceci Maher (District 26) and Representative Keith Denning (District 42). This dialogue will give elected state legislators an opportunity to present their priorities for the 2023 Connecticut Assembly session, and for constituents to provide them feedback and ask them questions about issues facing our town and state. The panelists will answer questions generated by the Black Student Union at Capital Community College (CCC) focused on why we celebrate Black History Month. Should Black history continue to have its own dedicated month? How can we improve the teaching of Black history in schools?

This year's One State One Film Series opens with the screening of "The Prison Within" (produced by Katherin Herve) and a virtual discussion panel on on Zoom. The film is about healing and breaking the cycle of mass incarceration. The film and panel discussion will challenge you to explore the impact mass incarceration has on individuals, families, and communities. This is a virtual zoom program with registration required.
