We're organizing a series of Saturday canvassing events with LWVNFC and LEAD in Danbury to raise awareness about the upcoming municipal election! Let’s encourage more voters to participate in our local elections! This is a great chance to connect with voters and make a real difference.

These canvases are non-partisan. We want to encourage voter participation. We are not supporting any particular candidates. Everyone's voice is essential, and everyone's voice should be heard through their vote.

Join us!

We will start each session with a brief training at LEAD. No worries if you've never canvassed before; we'll ensure you feel comfortable and confident before heading out. Everyone will be paired up, so you won’t be alone. You will receive a script, doorhangers, and mini-flyers with election and voting information.

What to bring:
A fully charged smartphone with the MiniVAN app installed.
Comfortable shoes.
Weather-appropriate clothing.

We will meet again at 4 PM at LEAD to discuss your canvassing experience and collect any extra materials you may have.
