CWEALF has a long tradition of celebrating women who make a difference in the lives of women and girls in Connecticut. This year, not only is CWEALF honoring a woman who has made tremendous contributions to our state, they’re celebrating their 50th anniversary!

CWEALF will award Dr. Khalilah L. Brown-Dean with the first Constance Baker Motley Award for her dedication to promoting greater civic engagement and representation for marginalized and under-resourced communities.
