Moderator: Anthony Presta. He will be assisted by a local high school student.
Audience Questions: Up to 2 questions may be submitted with registration by October 1st. Remote viewers may submit up to 2 questions by emailing voterservices [at] lwvgreenwich.org. (Only questions that can be answered by both candidates in each debate will be considered. All submissions will be reviewed by a bipartisan committee for fairness and prioritization at the debate.)
Election Day is November 4th. This year, the LWV Greenwich is pleased to announce that it will conduct five (5) debates for this fall’s municipal election. Candidates from both parties for the Board of Selectmen, Board of Education, Board of Estimate and Taxation, Town Clerk, and Tax Collector have agreed to participate.
All debates will take place in the Town Hall Meeting Room. Attendance in the Town Hall Meeting Room will be limited. Remote viewing will be provided via GCTV's YouTube Channel HERE. PLEASE NOTE THAT ADVANCE REGISTRATION WILL BE CUT OFF WHEN ROOM CAPACITY IS REACHED. REGISTERED ATTENDEES MUST BE IN THEIR SEATS BY 6:45PM OR SEATS WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE IN A STANDBY LINE.
