If you are feeling discouraged by the lack of checks and balances in Washington, if you believe that the constitution matters, if your understanding of our democratic process has congress controlling the purse strings - Then PLEASE join us on Tuesday evening.
Light 4 our Democracy
March 4th at 8:30 pm

What to bring:
- warm clothes, maybe a rain jacket or umbrella
- A candle, and one to share if you have extras
- A sign - go to you compost bin or cereal cabinet and get a slap of cardboard headed for the recycling bin - paint or write on it - one of the following:
* Light 4 Our Democracy
* Check and Balances
* Power of the Purse - Congress
These will be our chants for the evening.
If you have the time, energy and material to make an extra sign, please bring one to share. If your sign is not too big you can poke holes in the corners and attach a string to hang it around your neck. Your arms will thank you :)
