Election Day is November 4th. This year, the LWV Greenwich is pleased to announce that it will conduct five (5) debates for this fall’s municipal election. Candidates from both parties for the Board of Selectmen, Board of Education, Board of Estimate and Taxation, Town Clerk, and Tax Collector have agreed to participate.
All debates will take place in the Town Hall Meeting Room. Attendance in the Town Hall Meeting Room will be limited. Remote viewing will be provided via GCTV's YouTube Channel HERE. PLEASE NOTE THAT ADVANCE REGISTRATION WILL BE CUT OFF WHEN ROOM CAPACITY IS REACHED. REGISTERED ATTENDEES MUST BE IN THEIR SEATS BY 6:45PM OR SEATS WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE IN A STANDBY LINE. First Selectman & Selectman - Monday, September 29th| 7:00pm to 9:00pm Candidates: 7:00pm to 7:45pm - Selectman Candidates: Rachel Khanna (D) & Lauren Rabin (R) 8:00pm to 9:00pm – First Selectman Candidates: Anthony Moor (D) & Fred Camillo (R) Moderator: Anthony Presta He will be assisted by a local high school student. Audience Questions: Up to 2 questions may be submitted with registration by September 22nd. Remote viewers may submit up to 2 questions by emailing voterservices [at] lwvgreenwich.org. (Only questions that can be answered by both candidates in each debate will be considered. All submissions will be reviewed by a bi-partisan committee for fairness and prioritization at the debate.)
Board of Education - Monday, October 6th | 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Moderator: Anthony Presta He will be assisted by a local high school student. Audience Questions: Up to 2 questions may be submitted with registration by October 1st. Independent: Karen Fassuliotis (I) (note: invitations to the candidates in the BET debate were delayed as we awaited the conclusion of the Republican primary. We are in the process of confirming each of the candidates’ participation in this debate.) Moderator: Hena Doba She will be assisted by a local high school student.
