The League of Women Voters of Litchfield County and Litchfield Historical Society will host Secretary of State Denise Merrill for a lecture titled "Connecticut Voting Laws... an embarrassment?" on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 3:00 pm via Zoom. Speaker Denise Merrill, Secretary of the State, will explain the complicated steps which would have to be taken to change voting rules in Connecticut and address the debate this past year about absentee voting changes due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This is the third lectures in a partnership series between the Litchfield Historical Society and the League of Women Voters of Litchfield County. The League of Women Voters of Litchfield County is a grassroots, nonpartisan political organization of women and men.

The lecture will be presented over Zoom and spots are limited. We recommend pre-registering early. For those unable to attend, we will make a recording of the video available.
