The League of Women Voters of Ridgefield invited qualified candidates whose names will appear on the ballot running for the 111th and 42nd CT State House, and the 24th and 26th CT State Senate to the Candidates Forum. Seven candidates replied representing 3 seats. Those candidates participating in the Forum will answer questions and share their views on important topics with voters.
Members of the public who attend the Forum may submit questions on League-provided index cards on the day of the Forum between 5:50 pm and 6:20 pm. Questions submitted must be brief, of general interest to the audience, directed to all candidates and cannot be about personal matters. Questions will be included at the discretion of the Forum Moderator who decides which questions will be asked.
The Forum will be taped by the Library. No other taping or live streaming will be allowed. This Forum is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Ridgefield and the Ridgefield Library.
