Do you plan to vote in the November election? Make today your first step in creating a plan to vote.

Attend an NVRD event in your area!

You must bring a DMV issued identication OR use the last four digits of your social security number, be a CT resident, US Citizen, and at least 18 years of age by November 3, 2020.

  • Branford: Visit the League of Women Voters of the East Shore at Soundview Family YMCA, 628 E Main St. in Branford, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22.  Read more here.

  • Bridgeport: The City of Bridgeport is proud to be a National Voter Registration Day partner. Come to Bridgeport City Hall at 515 W Main Street on Sept. 22  from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. For more information, contact City Clerk, Donna Krivosky at 304-842-8235. Read more here.

     

  • Brookfield: Town Registrars of Voters and the League of Women Voters of Northern Fairfield County will hold a voter registration drive in the Brookfield library parking lot at  182 Whisconier Rd, Brookfield, CT 06804 on Sept. 22 from 1 to 6 pm. Read more here.

  • Groton: [Virtual Event] The League of Women Voters of Southeastern CT will explain what you need to know in order to vote safely during the pandemic. They will also cover the mail-in voting process along with sample ballots.Read more here.

  • New Canaan: Voter registration/Info table on Elm Street in front of Playhouse Theater, 89 Elm St, New Canaan, CT 06840 and also at New Canaan High School at 11 Farm Rd, New Canaan, CT 06840 on Sept. 22nd, 10am - 3pm. Read more here.

  • New Haven: The LWV of New Haven will be hosting registering voters outside The District 470 at James St, New Haven, CT 06513 on Sept. 22 from 4:30-6:30 pm. 

  • Norwich: Reliance Health will be registering voters from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m at 40 Broadway, Norwich, CT 06360. Read more here.

  • Ridgefield: On Tuesday, September 22nd, the League of Women Voters of Ridgefield will be at the Ridgefield Library to register citizens who will be at least 18 years old (or older) by Election Day, November 3, 2020.  Current registrants can also make address or party affiliation changes.  General information will be available about absentee balloting, poll locations, voting hours, and more.   • Waterbury: The  Waterbury NAACP Youth Council, Waterbury Bridge To Success - BTS Community Partnership and Greater Waterbury Naacp is hosting a Voter Registration event on the Waterbury Green W Main St, Waterbury, CT 06702 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Come out to register and visit various community partners' tables, find resources, food, raffles, and live entertainment, and more!  Read more here.

  • West Haven: Visit the West Haven Library, 300 Elm St, West Haven, CT 06516 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m on Tuesday, Sept. 22. The library will have space dedicated to assist people registering to vote. Paper applications and computers for online registration will be available. Library staff will be there to assist with voter registration questions and provide resources. Read more here.

If you can't attend in person, register or update your voter registration online!

If you:

  • have never registered to vote before
  • have moved to a different town in Connecticut
  • have moved to a different address in the same town
