QU Professor Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox to Speak on Democracy and the Constitution

Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox, Professor of Legal Studies at Quinnipiac University, will speak at Hamden’s Miller Library on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Friends Room. The event is hosted by the League of Women Voters of Hamden/North Haven.

Her talk, “Defending Democracy by Safeguarding Our Constitution,” will explore the critical role of the U.S.Constitution.

Professor Gadkar-Wilcox teaches constitutional law and related courses at Quinnipiac University. She also represents Connecticut’s 22nd State Senate District, serves as Executive Director of the Oxford Consortium for Human Rights, and is a Commissioner on the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO).
