Redistricting 2021; The process, the results and how it impacts you.

On Thursday, December 16 ay 7:00 PM the League of Women Voters of the Greater Bridgeport Area is hosting a general meeting via Zoom to discuss the redistricting process and results in Connecticut.  Featured speaker will be Dr. Joan Twiggs, LWVCT Board member and coordinator of the League’s People Powered Fair Maps redistricting initiative.

Dr. Twiggs will discuss the redistricting process in Connecticut, who made the decisions and if those decisions could be seen as gerrymandered.  She will lead a discussion on how the new House and Senate districts will specifically impact the residents of our five League towns of Bridgeport, Monroe, Stratford, Shelton and Trumbull.
