Join us for a spirited spring tea in support of the League of Women Voters’ of Litchfield Country's Education Fund, which provides scholarships to Litchfield County high school seniors preparing to become thoughtful, engaged citizens.
Our featured guest is Charlotte Jones Voiklis—author and granddaughter of local author Madeleine L’Engle (A Wrinkle in Time)—in conversation with Erin Strouse, League member and Scholarship Committee Chair. Together they’ll explore the power of books to shape civic imagination, the history of censorship, and how we support the next generation of brave thinkers and readers.
In partnership with Curious Cat Bookshop, where featured books are available for preorder. Also, visit their democracy display the week of April 21. If you can't get to the store, your books will be waiting for you at the event for signing and pickup.
