Join for the second event in the Fairfield League of Women Voters series VOTING RIGHTS & WRONGS, in partnership with the Fairfield Public Library.  This program focuses on voting issues ACROSS OUR UNITED STATES. Our distinguished panel includes: Judd Choate- Director, Division of Elections, Colorado Dept of State; Andrew Garber- Fellow-Voting Rights & Elections Program, Brennan Center for Justice, NYU School of Law; Anna Kellar- Executive Director, Democracy Maine (ME LWV, Citizens for Clean Elections, Students Vote); Scott McLean- Professor of Political Science, Quinnipiac University; and Catherine Turcer- Executive Director, Common Cause Ohio.

These experts will discuss disparity of election laws across the states, what works and what doesn't, the threats of voter suppression and negation, advocacy and the challenges of a federal solution.
