Speakers:

Dominique Johnson (she/they) was elected to the state legislature in 2022 to serve the residents of Norwalk and Westport’s 143rd District. They currently serve as Deputy Majority Caucus Chair and as an Assistant Majority Leader. Additionally, they are in the Education, Higher Education & Employment Advancement and Judiciary Committees.

Laura Smits (she/her) is a current member of the Norwalk League of Women Voters and an Elections Moderator in Norwalk. A former LWV state league President from 2021-2023, and VP Voter Services from 2017-2021, she serves on the state board as VP of Communications.

Lucy Dathan (she/her) ran for office in 2018 and, in her tenure, has prioritized issues that face women all over our country including access to affordable heath care, especially reproductive choices, pay equity and quality education for all ages.
