  1. As of this writing, LWVCT and 16 local CT LWVs have signed onto support the “Bottle Bill”, also known as SB 1037: An Act Concerning Solid Waste Management! Way to go Kathy Golas and allies! Contact Kathy directly for up-to-date info, kcgolas[at]aol.com. Bottle Bill Action Alert

  2. Resolutions HJ 58 (No Excuse Absentee Voting) and HJ 59 (Early Voting) are likely to come up in the House for discussion and votes the week of April 26  or possibly even the week of April 19. See the Action Alert for special outreach and Sample Letter to the Editor on HJ 58 NEAV, where 75% "Yes" votes are needed in BOTH houses to get this on ballot for all voters in 2022.Take Action for No-Excuse Absentee Voting
  3. Other important voting bills that the Connecticut General Assembly will vote on: 

    SB 5 Increased Opportunities for Absentee Voting, Safe and Secure In-Person voting and Voter Registration, SB 753 Prison Gerrymandering/Counting of Incarcerated Persons at Home addresses, SB 820 Voting Rights Act mirroring Federal John Lewis VRA, HB 5318 Parolee voting and others.
