Redistricting
All jurisdictions in Connecticut reviewed their voting district lines after the state received the data from the 2020 Census. While some of the towns in our area did not have to make many changes, the Town of Trumbull voted to move from 4 voting districts back to 7, and then modified the new districts to comport with Census data. A map of Trumbull’s new voting districts is available here.

The League of Women Voters of the Bridgeport Area has five divisions: Bridgeport, Monroe, Shelton, Stratford, and Trumbull. Membership costs $50 per year ($25 for second household members), with a special introductory rate of $35 for first-time members who have never been in a League before. The League has general meetings three or four times a year.
The primary focus of the LWV of the Bridgeport Area is voter service. We organize candidates’ debates in our towns, we work with community organizations to spread the word about voting rights, and we publish candidate lists and directories of public officials, called "Who Represents You?" Versions of the directories are on the web; and print versions for the Bridgeport, Stratford, and Trumbull directories are distributed to the public via the towns' libraries, senior centers, and town/city halls.
