
The League of Women Voters seeks a full-time Executive Director to support the League of Women Voters of Missouri (LWVMO) and the St. Louis Metro League of Women Voters (LWVSTL).
The Executive Director coordinates activities of the two organizations, which requires conferring with board members and national LWV staff.
The League of Women Voters is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots organization of members who work at the local, state and national levels to empower voters and defend democracy.
Role Highlights:
- Serves as Executive Director of the League of Women Voters of Missouri (LWVMO) and the St. Louis Metro League (LWVSTL)
- Supervises part-time staff and interns
- Drives strategic fundraising initiatives, including grants and fundraising efforts
- Manages and implements budgetary goals
- Manages external and internal communications
- Serves as spokesperson and advocate in conjunction with the Board(s)
- Serves as knowledge source for statewide issues and initiatives
- Fosters community and statewide partnerships and visibility
- Manages conferences and events for LWV members and the public, in conjunction with the Boards
Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience with fundraising and grant writing
- Skilled in voter engagement and advocacy
- Knowledgeable in nonprofit compliance and governance
- Effective communicator and consensus-builder who enjoys working with people
- Knowledgeable about Missouri government
Details:
Full-time, Salaried (exempt)
Office is based in St. Louis County
