
The 2024 LWVUS convention authorized a study on the federal judiciary to establish a new position to respond to controversies about both the ethics and the decision-making of the U.S. Supreme Court and other federal courts. The goal is to reach a consensus of the membership on broad principles that we want to uphold in the coming years.
March unit meetings kicked off the discussion on issues related to transparency, accountability, independence and ethics.
